Collection includes: Papers relating to the history of the Hotel Lenox, 1980-1981, compiled just prior to the building's demolition to make room for the Justice Center; Plans and blueprints of the Hotel Lenox and the home of its owner, E. C. Jorgenson, ca. 1906. Emil Schacht (1854-1926) was a well-known architect who built many homes in the Portland area, including the Russell and Blythe Houses.
